The Away Team are people from HBC or connected with the church who are working overseas. The name helps to remind us that they are part of our church although they are working away. We have sent out three families who are working in Senegal, Central Asia and the UK. We support several others known to us who are working abroad and two who are in training, hoping to go abroad in the future.

A number of HBC people are working for mission offices in Oxford, or reaching out to teenagers, students and internationals in the area. These aspects of mission are also included.

Once a month a group meets to share news and pray for the Away Team and following each meeting a bulletin sheet is compiled and distributed to all who are interested.

Away Team Supporters meet on the 4th Friday evening of the month to share news of and pray for people working overseas. A monthly newsletter is available for regular church attenders by email or printed and placed in the church pigeon holes.
